Toni, her mo and her brother are getting baptized. come join us at the stake center @ 1pm and join us in supporting her decision. If staying afterwards for lucnh please bring a side dish or treat.

Hiking Reminder

This is just a little reminder that we have a hike on Saturday! We will be leaving at SIX yes that is 6 am from the main park. We will be having a lot of fun so it will be worth it. Remember to bring TWO, 2 water bottles,  a lunch, and eat breakfast. I WILL see you all there!

September 16- Painting and work on the YW theme.

September 26- Nutrition= cooking Basics

October 3- How to dance.  Sister Uty teaching. 

October 10- Combined w/ YM. YW in charge of the treat.

October 17- modest costume. Start with making masks. need girls to bring bobs and bits from home to decorate their own masks. I will provide the masks. Everyone bring something for a costume from home. 

October 24- combined YW. Hairstyles and maintenance with Laura Spencer. COME WITH CLEAN WASHED HAIR!! 

October 31 Halloween ward party no mutual.

November 7- wood project @ sister Monaghans house 28813 N Coal Ave 

November 14- Combined with YM. YW in charge. 

November 21- no mutual thanksgiving

November 28- Women in Excellence Beehives need to bring their completed project!!!

Septembers Activity's

Sorry this is a little late. Here is what we are doing for the next few weeks.
12: Combined with young men. We are in charge. We will be having Active Action Jeopardy.
Girls need to wear normal clothes, just need to have shoe that they can move QUICKLY in.
19: We will try to have the tole painting again. SO clothe that can get paint on/aprons, any craft                                                   paint and or brushes would be great.
 26: Ummm... I forgot I will double check with the presidency and get back to you.

Activities for the rest of July and for August

July 18 -      Self Defense, We are having a special guest come and help us learn how and why we need to defend ourselves. Come in loose comfortable clothing. 

July 22 -      Fireside @ 7pm @ the church

July 25 -      We will be having our standards night tonight. You do NOT need to wear Sunday clothes.

August 1 -   We will be learning how to crochet. If you have any needles or yarn please bring them with you.

August 4 -   We are spending about 30 @ sister Monaghan's house (28813 N Coal Ave) to make the sponge balls for when we play water dodge ball on Wednesday.

August 8 -  Tonight is combined YW & YM. We will be having water activities. SO be prepared to get wet. If you do wear a swimsuit it needs to be UNDER your clothes. Plus it would be a good idea to bring a towel.

August 12 - Sister Monaghan's Birthday.

August 15 - Tonight is a PIZZA Party. YUM YUM. Everyone is bringing their favorite homemade Pizza and we are going to vote on the favorite.

August 19 - Fireside @ the church @ 7pm.

August 21 - Sister Frankowski's Birthday.

August 22 - It is combined with all the Young Women. The Mia Maids are in charge. Come prepared for a fun night.

August 29 - Tole painting. We will be working with wood, paint, glue, and craft paper. If you have any sandpaper, craft paint, and paint brushes. Could you please bring it the leaders would appreciate it very much.

As a side note for the parents. We just want to let you know how much we appreciate you sharing your girls with us. They are such a diverse group but they each add a necessary part to our Beehives. It would not be the same without them here and we DO sorely miss them each time they are gone.

June Schedule

For June We have a few adjustments from the calendar.

6- We are now going to be practicing our Skit & Song. Those with speaking parts please remember to bring your props.
13- We are taking off because we (your lovely leaders) thought you might like the chance to pack.
10- Youth Fireside
14/16- GIRLS CAMP since I cant go I want to see the spirit stick!! Make sure you guys are a positive example for all to see. Remember I have bribes.
20- Combined YW- Laurels are in charge
27- We will be having a Self Defense or a Hair Maintenance class depending on who can teach it.

Remember to keep up your PP & Journal Enteries.  There are spiritual and monetary rewards also involved. For keeping Journal entries for a month you get a Pizza Party curtsy of SIS Flores. PP- when you complete ONE Achievement including project Before August we will be having a Party.

Mays Activities

May 2 Taste test competition- all girls bring in a unique family food. We will see if the girls can guess the ingredients.
Followed by a scripture chase or a personal progress activity.

May 9- combined with YM. We are in charge. Boys are bringing the snacks. WE will be bringing in a couple of specialists to teach us about what it takes to maintain a car and then we are going to have a competition between the two groups and see who was paying the best attention. There are prizes involved for this one!

May 16- We are going to have one of my friends come and teach us some basic sign language. I left WHAT to teach up to her so it will be a surprise for all of us. She is really good at this sort of thing so I anticipate a lot of fun. Please be prepared to participate with your full attention and have lots of questions ready.

May 23- Mia Maids are in charge of this one

May 30- this one is still to be determined. The class presidency will let you know, asap.
